Privacy Policy

Mealzone Interactive Sdn. Bhd. (“Mealzone”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at mealzone.help. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (“PDPA”), and to be readable by humans.
1. Data we collect
We collect personal data in three situations:
- When you contact us. The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and, optionally, your company and phone number, together with whatever you write about your project.
- When you browse. Our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. If you consent to analytics cookies, we additionally collect anonymised usage statistics (see the Cookie Policy).
- When we work together. Clients provide contact and billing details necessary for contracts, invoicing and project delivery.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals you have requested;
- To perform contracts, issue invoices and meet accounting obligations under Malaysian law;
- To keep the website secure, diagnose faults and prevent abuse;
- With your consent, to understand which pages of this site are useful so we can improve them.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not send marketing email unless you have explicitly asked for it, and every such email includes a working unsubscribe link.
3. Legal basis and consent
Under the PDPA we process personal data with your consent (which you give by submitting a form or accepting optional cookies), for the performance of a contract, or where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the address below; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
4. How long we keep data
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up meaningfully, then deleted. Contractual and billing records are kept for seven years as required by Malaysian tax regulations. Server logs rotate automatically after 90 days.
5. Who can see your data
Access is limited to Mealzone staff who need it to do their jobs. We use a small number of service providers — hosting, email and, where consented, analytics — each bound by data-processing terms. Some providers store data outside Malaysia; where that happens we ensure protections consistent with the PDPA. We disclose personal data to authorities only where the law requires it.
6. Security
Data in transit to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Internally we apply least-privilege access, strong authentication and routine patching. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your personal data ever occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to processing, or ask us to stop processing for direct marketing. Send requests to [email protected]; we respond within 21 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the revision date at the top of the page. Substantive changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
